Delete your account

HELD - Communist Sightseeing

In the app (immediate)

  1. Open the You tab and tap Edit profile.
  2. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm twice.

Deletion is immediate and permanent: your account, profile, visit record, wishlist, photos, friend connections and blocks are all removed. There is no recovery window.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email dialectical-development@proton.me from the address your account is registered under, with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify the request against the registered address and complete the deletion within 30 days, confirming by reply.

What is deleted

Everything tied to your account: email address, username, profile photo, home country, visits and their dates, wishlist, badges, photos you uploaded, friend connections, blocks, reports you filed, and your sign-in credentials.

What is kept

Site suggestions and corrections that were approved into the public catalogue stay in the catalogue — they are part of the shared record of sites, not personal data. Their link to your account is removed with the account.
